Ignore the people who ask you if you need a taxi (Don't even ask them where the bus stop is). *ONLY* use an official yellow taxi where you'll find a taxi line and a uniformed dispatcher. The cost will be $2.00 per person.ĭo *NOT* accept a ride from anybody in the airport who asks you whether you need a taxi. You'd simply take the Manhattan-bound 7 train to the first stop in Manhattan, Grand Central. 33 bus (it stops at the airport terminal) to the first stop where you see the elevated train line. ![]() You can ask the driver to "Take the Grand Central to Crescent Street, take the Queensboro Bridge to 2nd Avenue and 45th Street to the hotel." This will avoid the toll and actually keep the fare down a bit. It is actually quite easy to get into the Grand Central area (The Roosevelt is right by Grand Central) from LaGuardia Airport on the bus / subway but if you're not familiar with the City, the taxi is a good way to start.Ī taxi from say the Delta terminal at LaGuardia to The Roosevelt will be about $30.00. ![]()
